Assessment of our authors

RX-A2A

Very flexible to use

Strengthen
  1. HDMI supports 8K
  2. masters almost all surround formats
  3. numerous entrances
weaknesses
  1. quite expensive
  2. without front HDMI

There is hardly a player that cannot be connected here. From turntables without their own preamplifier to televisions with 4K resolution (8K possible via update in the future) or an extremely powerful gaming PC, you will find the right connections. The same applies to surround sound. Seven speakers and two subwoofers can be connected. In addition, the integrated software allows the use of different sound formats in order, for example, thanks to DTS: X, to perceive the sounds from exactly the right direction. With the connection to the WLAN, other speakers in the network can be addressed if they support MusicCast. The range of functions is rounded off with Bluetooth and digital and analog radio reception. Almost the same applies to a Yamaha RX-V6A, which is much cheaper and offers almost the same extras apart from the fifth stand.
