How accurate are news channels

Use Slack

By looking at Slack's unread messages on your desktop, you can read any messages that you missed while away. You can react to your unread messages in the following ways:

On your desktop, click on the top left sidebarUnread. If you don't see this option, clickÂÂMoreto find them. Remember that messages on muted or archived channels will not be included in this view.

Sort unread channels

Prioritize unread messages the way you want by changing how they are sorted. You can sort messages alphabetically and by newest or oldest activity. You can also sort messages scientifically on paid plansÂ- in a view tailored to the way you use Slack.


Mark messages as read

Click onMark as read, Â to hide the messages of a channel after reading them. You can also go to the bottom of the page Unread-Scroll view and click onMark all messages as read click.

  • If you're rushing on Mark as read clicked, just click Decliningto get this news in your view Unread to keep
  • If you want to access the news in a channel again later, click on the Âarrow-symbol next to the name of the channel to collapse it. Click the icon again when you're ready to view the unread messages.


Update for new messages

If new messages are added while you are in the view Unread that will be ÂIcon for the synchronization with the two arrows appear in the header. Click the icon to view more unread messages.


News promotions

You can use the Unread-View does not post new messages, but you can save them, share them, add a reaction, Â pin them, Â set reminders or start a thread.


Jump to a channel

To post a message in a channel or jump to a conversation, click the time stamp a message to get to this channel.
