7 colorful smoothie recipes for more variety in the glass

Green smoothies are pretty “in” at the moment - and we've been drinking them for almost two years now. Not every day, but several times a week.

If you are not yet in the green smoothie fever then check out, for example, A Very Vegan Life, "V" eltenbummler and Eat Train Love - all three have written a post about green smoothies in the last few weeks and we were each allowed to contribute a recipe.

But why is it always green? Our diet should be as colorful as possible!

Why you should add more color to your diet

“Colorful” foods - fruits and vegetables - get their color from their ingredients. If a fruit has a very intense color, this is an indication of a high concentration of an ingredient.

In order to have a varied diet, you should pay attention to the colors of your food and make your plate (or your smoothie glass) colorful. It's very easy and fun too!

So that you too can add color to your personal smoothie landscape, we present smoothie recipes for seven different colors in this article - creative imitation is encouraged!

All information is only approximate for 2 large glasses and should of course be adapted to your own taste! The preparation is the same for all recipes: Put everything in a mixer (we have the Vitamix Professional Series 300 *), mix, done!
