“Every minute counts”: Soviet-style posters are intended to motivate the construction workers of a coronavirus clinic

The new Moscow clinic will accept patients diagnosed with the novel coronavirus.

The Moscow city government emphasizes the importance of the new medical facility. Since the virus is spreading quickly, it was important to build the hospital and open it to patients as quickly as possible. The planned completion date is April 15th.

To motivate construction workers and remind them that time is running out, the Moscow mayor's office launched a motivational campaign with Soviet-style posters. Many of the motivational posters that were posted on the construction site show Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin himself.

“Everyone on the construction site already understands the importance and responsibility of the task we are facing. In order to further support the spirit of the construction workers, these motivational posters were put up on the construction site, ”said Deputy Mayor Andrei Botschkarev.
